Charles Beauclerk, 1st Duke of St Albans, was born in the United Kingdom on May 8, 1670. A prominent figure of the House of Stuart, he was the son of King Charles II of England. While he held no monarchical titles himself, his lineage connected him directly to the thrones of England, Scotland, and Ireland through his father. He was formally created Duke of St Albans, a title he held until his death. His life spanned a significant period of British history, marked by shifting political landscapes and royal successions. He passed away in Bath on May 10, 1726.
